Ep 4: Sandra Tasic
Meet yourself through Sandra Tasic as she shares her stories of arriving in this country as a refugee, building community in as a new immigrant and her desire to manifest a kindness revolution.
Keep reading to get a couple self-reflection questions to keep in mind as you listen, reflect and learn from these stories.
I’ve known Sandra for many years and have always been impressed with her insight, sharp wit and kindness. She was one of the first names I put on my interview list , so I was excited when she agreed to talk on this podcast. Sandra has such a deep commitment to modeling her values and getting involved with causes and issues that help her manifest them into the world. You can hear that commitment in the interview as she talked about wanting to build a kinder and more open world, and how she leaned into the new communities and cultures she was suddenly surrounded by when she moved to this country.
Talking with her made me reflect on what really makes up the core of who I am…those 3 or 4 qualities that come together and make me the unique person that I am. What are those for you? Why are those the things that have come together to make you who you are?
I also thought that the vision of wanting to start a kindness revolution to counteract the divisiveness that we are seeing these days was very powerful. It made me ask myself what are we each doing to help bring about this type of revolution?
